Cookie Policy

In force since 10.09.2026

This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Bulgarian version at https://fincontrol.bg/terms prevails - it is the legally binding text.

1. Which cookies we use

Fincontrol.bg uses a minimal set of cookies needed for the platform to work and to stay secure. Analytics and advertising measurement cookies are set only if you explicitly agree (see section 5). We do not profile your behaviour and we do not sell data.

2. Strictly necessary (no consent required)

These cookies are required for the site and the platform to work at all (Art. 4a(2) of the Electronic Communications Act) - that is why they do not require prior consent, but we list them here for transparency.

3. Google reCAPTCHA (only on login and sign-up)

On the login and sign-up pages we use Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated bots from creating fake accounts or trying passwords. reCAPTCHA sets cookies from a Google domain (google.com/recaptcha) on those two pages only - nowhere else in the platform. Google is a third party and processes this data under its own privacy policy.

4. Payments (Stripe)

When you choose a paid plan we redirect you to a Stripe payment page - it is on a Stripe domain (stripe.com/checkout.stripe.com), not on fincontrol.bg. Whatever cookies Stripe sets on that page are governed by its own privacy policy - fincontrol.bg neither sets nor reads Stripe cookies.

5. Analytics and advertising (with your consent only)

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement to know which pages are useful and which advertisement leads to real registrations. These tools load only after you press “Accept” in the cookie notice. Until then - and permanently, if you choose “Only the necessary” - no Google analytics or advertising code runs and none of its cookies are set.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key fc_consent) and you can withdraw it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings - the notice will then appear again.

Separately from cookies: when you arrive from an advertisement or from another site, we record the source with your registration (for example “google / cpc” and the search term), so that we know where our customers come from. It stays with us, in your own registration, and is not passed to third parties.

We do not use Facebook Pixel or any other advertising tool.

6. Counting visits - without a cookie

Besides Google Analytics, which loads only with your consent, we keep our own counter on the server. It sets no cookie, reads nothing from your browser and loads no third-party code, which is why it needs no consent. It records which page was opened, when, and how long it stayed open.

Visitors are told apart by a pseudonymous code computed from your address and browser with a secret key that changes every day. The address itself is not kept. Once the key changes, the same person yields a different code, so we do not follow you from one day to the next and cannot link today's visit to yesterday's. That is also why "unique visitors" in our reports is a per-day figure, not a monthly one.

Time on page is measured by a short script served from fincontrol.bg itself, which on leaving sends only the number of seconds. What exactly is stored and for how long is set out in our Privacy Policy, section 2.

7. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to the platform.
