Monthly bookkeeping
We post purchases, sales, cash and bank. You send the documents in whatever way suits you - a photo from your phone, a PDF by email or on paper.
We keep the monthly books, VAT, payroll and year-end closing of Bulgarian limited companies (EOOD and OOD), sole traders and freelancers. You send the documents in whatever way suits you. The work is done in our platform, so at any time you can see what has been posted and what has been filed.
€99 a month for a micro company and €25 for a dormant one - paid by card right after you sign up. For a larger company the price is agreed after a short call, because it depends on the volume. We reply to enquiries within one working day.
Call us: +359 899 716 756 on working days between 9:00 and 18:00 Sofia time - the call does not commit you to anything
Tell us what you need and we will reply within one working day. The price depends on the volume, so we set it after a short call rather than from a fixed tariff.
It helps to know what the company does, whether it is registered for VAT and how many employees it has. If you are not sure, write what you know.
Or call us directly on +359 899 716 756.
The scope depends on the company. Below is the usual scope of the work.
We post purchases, sales, cash and bank. You send the documents in whatever way suits you - a photo from your phone, a PDF by email or on paper.
Purchase and sales ledgers, the VAT return, the VIES declaration and reverse charge. We track the deadlines and tell you how much VAT is due before the deadline.
Payroll, payslips, employment contracts and entries in the employment register, leave, Declarations 1 and 6. Including social security for self-employed persons.
Year-end closing, the annual corporate tax return and the annual financial statements according to the category of the company, published in the Commercial Register.
You get access to your company and see what has been posted and which declarations have been filed, with dates and amounts. It is the same screen we work in. The platform can be used in English.
Documents, accounting entries and reports download in a readable form, including if you decide to change accountants.
There is no need to wait for 1 January. We take the trial balance and the documents from your current accountant, enter the opening balances and continue from there.
A Bulgarian company that pays for advertising with Google Ireland or Meta must register for VAT under Art. 97a of the VAT Act, with an application filed no later than 7 days before the first payment or invoice. Under that registration the recipient charges and pays the VAT but cannot deduct it (Art. 70(4)). That is why, with regular advertising costs, the voluntary registration under Art. 100(1) is usually the better choice: the same VAT is charged but also deducted, and input VAT on other expenses can be deducted as well. When a company is being set up, the voluntary registration can be requested directly in the Commercial Register (Art. 100(5)), together with the application for registration.
Supplies to clients outside Bulgaria carry no Bulgarian VAT but keep the right to deduct input VAT (Art. 69(2)). A voluntary registration must be kept at least until the end of the year following the year of registration (Art. 108(2)), and monthly returns are filed throughout, even without activity. Assessing which option is better is part of our work - we do it before the registration, not after it. More detail in our article (in Bulgarian): when services from abroad require VAT registration.
Dormant company (no activity) - €25 a month, including the year-end closing and the declaration of no activity, when due. Micro - €99 a month for a micro company not registered for VAT. Both are paid by card right after you sign up in the platform.
For an active VAT-registered company with employees - from €199, and for a high volume or several lines of business - from €399. The final price depends on the volume of documents; you pay by card once we have reviewed the company and agreed. Payroll and social security are included in the price - up to 3 employees on “Micro”, up to 8 on “Standard” and up to 15 on “Extended”; above that €8 per employee per month.
If you only need us to enter the documents of a past period, we quote a price for the one-off entry after reviewing them, and you pay it by card. To file returns with the NRA and the NSSI on behalf of the company we need a power of attorney, sent to us as an original by courier. Prices are final - Fincontrol EOOD is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
Fincontrol EOOD, company ID (EIK) 208331221, Sofia, Bulgaria. A working accounting practice - the rates, deadlines and forms for the revenue agency are maintained by people who file them every month. Call +359 899 716 756 or write to office (at) fincontrol.bg - we reply on working days between 9:00 and 18:00 Sofia time, including to questions from future clients.
Yes. We need the trial balance as at the takeover date, the documents for the year and access to the declarations already filed. We enter the opening balances and continue. Your current accountant is obliged to hand over the accounting records - they belong to the company.
It is not mandatory - you can also send the documents by email or on paper. But the platform gives you access to the state of your company at any time and is included in the price, so most clients use it at least to follow the work.
Yes. The work is entirely online - documents arrive as photos or PDFs, and we speak by phone or write by email. We correspond in Bulgarian and in English; the accounting records and the filings themselves are in Bulgarian and in euro, as Bulgarian law requires.
Then you need the platform itself - from €5 a month. The demo opens without signing up. If you are not sure which of the two suits you, ask us and we will advise.
Call us or write to us about what you need - we reply within one working day. The call does not commit you to anything.
