The full scope - from reading the invoice to the statement you file. Looking for prices and buttons? They are on the home page.
Upload a PDF or a photo - the AI recognises the counterparty, the amounts and the VAT treatment and proposes a complete accounting entry. You only confirm. Processing also runs in batches - up to 20 invoices at a time through a queue, with automatic duplicate detection.
A bank statement (PDF, image or CSV) is read and matched to counterparties and accounts. A sick note becomes an absence on the employee's record. An employment contract creates the employee - names, national ID, job title with its occupation code, salary, term, and the date of signing kept apart from the date of starting work, with the legal ground picked from the revenue agency's own codes. When you create a company, the commercial register extract fills in the name, identification code, address, manager and activity; for associations, a member list is imported in one go from Excel, CSV or a photo.
A separate screen shows, for every bank account, which months are covered by an uploaded statement, which are uploaded but not yet posted, and which are missing. The balance of the ledger account is compared with the closing balance on the statement, so a difference shows up at once rather than at year-end closing. The same statement uploaded twice is not read again, and movements already posted from it are marked and left unselected.
If the supplier's invoice arrived by email, there is no need to download it and upload it to the platform. Forward the email to the document address and the attached PDFs and photos go through the same AI reading. The mailbox is checked every 10 minutes, the documents are saved as drafts under “Invoices” and you receive a notification in the platform. Only emails from an address with access to the company are accepted - no outside party can add a document to your books - and if you keep several companies, the company ID (EIK) in the subject line indicates which one it is for. When an email is not accepted, you find out why: a separate screen shows what arrived and what happened to it.
High-stakes documents are not filed on their own. An employee created from a contract stays a draft - out of payroll and with no notice sent to the revenue agency until you confirm it. A wrong national ID or date is corrected with an amended declaration, and the statutory deadline is three days. If the document is not what it was submitted as, the AI refuses to read it rather than filling in whatever it sees. An invoice whose amount could not be read, or whose date falls outside the company's lifetime, also stays a draft, and the reason is shown next to its number under “Invoices”.
“How much does company X owe us?”, “What did we spend on fuel this month?” - the assistant answers from the actual trial balance, invoices and settlements of the company, not with general statements.
The statistical thresholds are watched for you - the platform knows your intra-EU arrivals and dispatches and warns you when the obligation arises, together with the deadline for the first declaration. The monthly return is filled from invoices already entered and flags rows with a missing commodity code or weight before you file. It also comes out as INSTAT XML for electronic submission.
A full chart of accounts with analytical sub-accounts, trial balance, general ledger, journal vouchers and guards against mistakes: the cash account cannot go negative, goods are not sold before they arrive. Every entry keeps a link to the document behind it - a scanned invoice, a payslip, a protocol.
You issue invoices and credit notes with automatic numbering, proformas before an advance payment, recurring invoices for repeat clients, and sending the invoice to the client by email, with the bank details.
The tax point date is shown separately from the issue date, and the special cases come from a list with the exact statutory wording: reverse charge (where the rate and the amount of tax disappear from the document, as Art. 114(4) requires), Art. 141 2006/112/EC for triangular operations, the three margin schemes for goods, travel services (with the costs for the traveller and the departure date, the tax charged with an Art. 87 protocol for each trip), cash accounting, the small business scheme - plus free text for anything the list does not cover. Credit and debit notes ask for the reason for issuing and inherit the regime of their invoice; the Art. 117 protocol shows the tax point date and, for cancellations and amendments, what the law adds on top.
Exports come out in the statutory forms under the Bulgarian standards: a two-sided income statement under NAS 1, cash flow under NAS 7 (direct method), and the annual package adjusts itself to the company category under Art. 19 of the Accountancy Act. A dashboard with financial indicators and charts, without counting by hand.
Payroll with current rates and thresholds, payslips, employment and civil contracts. Declarations 1 and 6 for the revenue agency straight from the platform - including corrections and deletions - plus the employment register entries on hiring, amendment and termination (Art. 62(3) of the Labour Code). Payroll for a past month can still be run after the employee has left, and the working time of each month is kept as it was at the time - a later amendment to the contract does not change declarations already filed.
A company without income accrues a salary for its manager without paying it. Social security is due on accrual, while income tax is withheld only on actual payment (Art. 42(5) of the Personal Income Tax Act) - the platform keeps the two apart: account 454 is not credited, the full amount remains a liability to staff, and in Declaration 1 the tax and the net pay are zero. When the salary is paid later, the tax goes into Declaration 6 for the month of payment, without affecting the declaration already filed.
The platform holds the personal identification numbers of employees, bank accounts and client turnover. That is why the password is at least 12 characters long, with a lower-case and an upper-case letter, a digit and a symbol, and access can also be protected with two-factor authentication through an app for one-time codes. The email is confirmed - without a confirmed address there is no paying and no downloading of data. Personal data is stored encrypted, every accounting entry has an audit trail, closed periods are locked, and backups are daily and encrypted. The data is yours and downloads in full at any time - including with an expired subscription.
Annual leave entitlement is calculated under Art. 155 and 156 of the Labour Code, pro-rated when someone joins or leaves during the year, carried over under Art. 176 and time-barred after two years (Art. 176a). The platform tracks the balance of every employee, warns which days expire on 31 December and prints the request, the order and the annual leave schedule. Leave for marriage, blood donation and bereavement (Art. 157), for two or more children (Art. 168), study leave, maternity and unpaid leave are kept separately - each with its correct effect on payroll and on Declaration 1. On termination, compensation under Art. 224 is calculated automatically from the average daily pay (Art. 177).
Purchase and sales ledgers, the VAT return and VIES - in the exact fixed format of the revenue agency. Reverse charge under Art. 117 with its own protocol numbering (intra-EU acquisitions, Art. 82(2)(1/2/3), Art. 163a, triangular, cancellation and amendment), the annual adjustment of partial input tax credit under Art. 73(8) and corrections for write-offs and shortages under Art. 79 - with a checklist under Art. 80 of when no correction is due. The registration threshold is monitored automatically.
Distance sales to customers in the EU are charged at the rate of the customer’s country, reported separately from Bulgarian VAT and come out ready for the quarterly return - broken down by country and rate. The €10,000 threshold under Art. 20b is watched automatically, with a warning before it is crossed.
An accounting and a tax depreciation plan (Art. 54 of the Corporate Income Tax Act), handover protocols on acquisition and on assignment to an employee. The tax rate is set under Art. 55 for the specific asset, not only for its category: an electric car acquired after 1 January 2026 is depreciated at 50% instead of 25%, as is a new machine that is part of an initial investment; software from the revenue agency's list goes up to 100%; and an asset with a legal limitation is depreciated over the term of the contract. An asset below the threshold of Art. 50 is not included in the tax plan. When an asset brings no economic benefit for more than a year, depreciation stops under Art. 59 and the amount charged for those months is reversed.
Turning the accounting result into the taxable result is usually done by hand, in a separate spreadsheet. Here every adjustment comes from what has been posted: non-deductible expenses under Art. 26, shortages and scrap under Art. 28, donations above the limit under Art. 31, income of individuals unpaid at 31 December under Art. 42 (except the basic salary), depreciation under Art. 54 and written-off assets under Art. 66. Tax losses are carried forward in the order they arose, and the five-year limit is monitored. Every line can be corrected by hand, and the reason for the correction is recorded next to the calculated amount.
The tax on expenses in kind under Art. 204(1)(4) is 3%, and the base is set under Art. 215a - for cars by kilometres, by hours or at a flat 50%, for real estate by floor area or by hours, and 20% for other assets. The choice has a further consequence: with the flat 50% for a car, the expense is recognised without a trip log under Art. 10(6). The payment deadline (30 June) is added to the tax calendar automatically.
Quantities come out of the purchase invoice and are not entered a second time. A mixed invoice is split across accounts - the service in one, the materials in another, all in a single entry in which the origin of every line remains visible. For an unknown item the platform requires confirmation rather than assuming. Items carry a barcode: you scan when receiving instead of searching a list. Goods can be held at several locations - shop, warehouse, production site - with transfers between them and stock levels per location. Goods that are each unique - cars, for instance - become separate items with the VIN as their code, so the purchase price of each car is known when it is sold under the margin scheme. Transport and fees for a particular car (document handling, auction) go into its cost automatically: the invoice is matched to the car by its VIN, whether it was uploaded before or after the purchase.
When a purchase that was read looks like equipment for the company itself - a phone, laptop, printer - but was put under goods, the platform does not post it on its own and asks: is it for resale or for use in the company? For own use the value decides: below the Art. 50 CITA threshold (BGN 700, EUR 357.90) it is a materials expense, above it a fixed asset, added with an inventory number, category and depreciation rate. The platform remembers how you book purchases from each supplier: after three purchases in a row from them to the same account, the next one goes there, even if the reading suggests another.
The accompanying documents - CMR, waybill, handover protocol - are attached to each invoice. They stay with the invoice and in the general document register instead of a separate folder. For an intra-EU supply they are the proof that the goods left Bulgaria (Art. 45 of the VAT Act Implementing Regulation).
The scanner works as a keyboard - you plug it in and scan, with no drivers and no setup. During the count the screen shows only what you have counted: the book quantities appear only at the end, so that the count is genuine rather than a confirmation of a figure already shown. Shortages and surpluses are posted with one button - the surplus against income, the shortage charged to the company or to the person accountable, as you choose. The count sheet and the comparison statement under Art. 28 of the Accountancy Act come out ready for signature, and for shortages there is a direct link to the input VAT adjustment under Art. 79 of the VAT Act.
The language belongs to the person, not to the company: the owner reads the screens in English while the accountant works in Bulgarian in the same company. An invoice can be issued bilingually for foreign customers. Accounting documents and statements stay in Bulgarian - that is what Art. 5(1) of the Accountancy Act requires.
A “Help” button on every screen opens a conversation with us - you see the replies where you asked the question and get an email notification. Working hours Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 18:00. The person on the other side is an accountant, not an operator with canned answers.
Thresholds and a schedule for advance corporate tax instalments with the deadlines under Art. 90, a check under Art. 89 whether the forecast is understated, and a statement of the annual tax - 10% for companies or 15% under the Income Taxes Act for sole traders, each with its own return and deadline.
The return comes out completed line by line, each figure next to its own box code from form 1010: income and expenses, the Art. 22 adjustment of the accounting result, the tax base, the rate, any tax remitted, the advance instalments and the balance to pay. It also covers the tax on expenses (Part VIII) and the transactions with related parties (Part VI), plus Appendix 1 when tax is remitted under Art. 189b. A separate breakdown shows where every figure came from, for checking before filing. There is no machine-readable file and there cannot be one: the revenue agency publishes no file structure for this return - it is filed through a form in the portal, electronically only, between 1 March and 30 June. The deadline sits in the calendar for that whole window, not on its last day.
A register of every amount withheld under Art. 195 - interest, royalties, technical and management fees, rent. The quarter is counted from the accrual, not the payment, and the deadline reaches the tax calendar only when tax was actually withheld. A treaty rate is entered separately from the statutory one, so it stays visible that relief was used - and that is exactly what triggers the annual declaration under Art. 142(5) of the Tax Procedure Code by 31 March. The 255 645.94 EUR threshold per person is tracked cumulatively for the year, with a warning at 80%: the request to the revenue agency is filed before the payment, not after it.
The tax is 10%, but the exempt part is monthly and per person: up to 30.68 EUR for voluntary insurance and life policies and up to 102.26 EUR for food vouchers. That is why the register asks for the number of people and months, not just a yearly total. Transport to work is fully exempt. And if a benefit is not available to all employees, it is not a social expense under the corporate tax act at all but income of the individual - the platform warns about this instead of charging tax on the wrong ground.
You mark which counterparties are related parties - an owner, a subsidiary, a company with a common owner - and the income, expenses and balances are taken from their documents, with a separate line for parties from jurisdictions with a preferential tax regime. The balance is calculated as at 31 December, not as of today: an invoice paid in February was fully outstanding at 31 December. Credit notes are deducted and drafts are not counted.
One screen that looks for the quiet inconsistencies: unbalanced entries, posted documents without an entry, divergence between the VAT ledgers and the accounts, negative stock. Green means you can file with confidence.
You distribute a dividend - the platform charges the withholding tax and immediately generates the document ready for signature: a sole-owner decision for an EOOD, minutes with voting by participation share for an OOD. The same for other decisions - change of manager, address, capital, shareholder.
All tax and social security deadlines in one place, for all your companies at once - the status is recognised from the files already generated, not entered by hand.
The files download ready and are filed without further work.
You choose a “company” or “accountant” profile - each leads to a different workspace.
The platform asks about your company and sets up the chart of accounts and opening balances itself.
Invoices, bank movements, cash. The AI proposes the entries, you confirm.
VAT, salaries, annual statements - in the statutory forms, with reminders before every deadline.
Stock items and costing, cash register reports, cash receipts and payment orders, stocktaking. For scrap and shortages the input VAT is adjusted under Art. 79 of the VAT Act and a protocol is drawn up.
Sales to consumers in the EU are taxed under the OSS scheme - at the rate of the buyer's country - and the 10,000 EUR threshold under Art. 20b is monitored automatically. A separate check compares the online shop with the requirements of Ordinance N-18. A WooCommerce, Shopify or Stripe shop can be connected so that sales, fees and refunds are booked automatically, with the QR code under N-18.
Development, consulting, design, marketing. Services under Art. 21(2) to a client in the EU go into the VIES declaration, the invoice can be bilingual, and the owner can use the screens in English.
Intra-Community acquisitions with self-assessment, triangular transactions, zero-rated exports. The Intrastat thresholds of the National Statistical Institute are monitored and the return comes out as INSTAT XML.
Supplies under Annex 2 are invoiced with reverse charge under Art. 163a(2) - no VAT is charged by you and the recipient draws up a protocol - and the ledgers place them in their own columns.
Sales of second-hand goods, works of art and antiques are taxed under the margin scheme (Chapter 17 of the VAT Act): the invoice shows no VAT, and the tax is charged once per period with a summary protocol under Art. 90 of the implementing regulation. Every car bought becomes a separate stock item with its VIN, and the CMR and transport documents are attached to the invoice. A tour operator pays VAT only on the margin of the trip (Chapter 16 of the VAT Act): the tax falls due on the day of departure and is charged with a protocol under Art. 87 of the implementing regulation, and the non-EU share is zero-rated.
Subsidies are accounted for under NAS 20, and the tax relief under Art. 189b - 60% of the tax on profit from unprocessed crop and livestock production - is calculated and tracked against reinvestment.
Restaurants, hair salons, car repair shops, tailoring workshops. The patent tax under the Local Taxes and Fees Act is kept by municipality, activity and zone, and the platform tracks both limits: turnover and VAT registration.
A sole trader is taxed under the Personal Income Tax Act - 15% on the taxable profit, advance payments under the Corporate Income Tax Act and an annual return under Art. 50. Self-employed social security and the annual reconciliation are kept in the same company.
Payroll, payslips, leave and sick leave with Annex 9 for the National Social Security Institute, Declarations 1 and 6, and entries in the employment register (electronic employment record). Civil contracts with a statement of amounts paid.
Members and monthly membership fees, donations and expenses - each of them posted automatically. The data also serves the annual activity report under Art. 40 of the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act, which public-benefit organisations publish by 30 September.
With permission from the revenue agency you can use cash accounting under Chapter 17a: VAT is due on payment, not on issuing the invoice. A protocol under Art. 151c(3) is drawn up for every payment.
Who it is not for. The platform keeps books under the Bulgarian National Accounting Standards. It is not intended for entities reporting under IFRS, for budget-funded organisations, for banks, insurers and pension companies, for consolidated group accounts, or for activities subject to alternative taxes under Chapter 32 of the Corporate Income Tax Act (gambling, ship operation).
Open a company with books already in place and walk through every screen - invoices, payroll, VAT ledgers, statements. No email, no card.
